I recently purchased a Titek air duct however it did not come painted with a clear coat. Did anyone go through the process of painting it? If so what kind of paint did u use and where can I get that specific kind of paint?

 

oh noes... man, i swear, no ghetto painting on body parts allowed. let the honda boys rig their rides. it cant cost that must for you to have it professionally done at a decent body shop.

It got me thinking if it's a authentic Titek duct. It came with all the necessary hardware though. Has anybody bought one that didn't come painted too?

 

most people end up getting the cf version and leave it unpainted.

Yeah, I got the cf one. I was p'd off when it came in the mail and it didn't come with a clear coat. I spent about $80 on it plus an additional $20 to get it painted at a local shop.
