Unless you have unlimited budget, keep the wing... If you decide to change the Nismo wing there's going to be holes in your trunk.

 

I am running into the same problem as you... I also have the nismo wing and after about a year and a half am having second thoughts.... I am probably gonna go w/ the Mastergrade hatch, It has that little detail on the back which just looks hott...(Plus takes some pounds off your car ). You then have two options getting it painted or throwing some c/f on your car for a diff. look

 

Nismo wing = fail.

 

I agree, the v1 wing looks good.. but it just feels like a waste of plastic now after having it for so long..

 

I agree, I have the v1 wing too and after a few years im thinking it might look better w/o the wing...but i have a kit and taking it off might be too much of a hassle

 

Go with the clean look.

 

Nissan nailed the design on the Z, imo. Wings only detract from it.

I agree.. but remember nissan also designed that v1 wing.. either way I'm starting to get sick of it. I know some say that with a body kit, the wing is necessary but I've seen a lot of pics of the nismo kit without the wing, and i find it really clean.

 

usually i would say no to a wing but in your case, it looks soo much better with the nismo wing

If you are getting the kit it needs the wing.

 

I was in pretty much the same dilemma, was getting the entire v1 kit but didn't know if I should get the wing or not. I hate the way it looks from certain angles and decided against it. I'm happy I didn't go with it, think it looks a lot cleaner.

 

I would lose the wing or switch to a Nismo V2 wing.

 

I vote Mastergrade hatch

 

haha mastergrade hatch is hot, but thats a lot of carbon fiber for my car.. unless its painted.

 

Get it in fiberglass.
