It will be fine. Wouldn't fade like the rest of the car though.

 

I'm not feeling it but to each their own.

 

My bodyshop guy told me overtime that the clearcoat would be destroyed by the overlay, but if I'm getting it painted later anyway, I dont care.

 

wow... uhh... personally i have cf hatch and hood and now im either going to cf the roof and side pillars (complete top end)or just paint it black when i send it in for a new custom yellow paint job.

Q: did you paint black or did you vinyl?

i heard that the vinyl will fade and turn whitish, is that true?

sorry to say but it kinna does look like a TC with just the roof.

 

I used to have a black roof. Had it for bout 2 months... until i got tired of the Scion TC comments (which i'm sure u gonna get too...)






then I just decided to do it all...

ok, i read that its a overlay (that is the same as vinyl right?) man $50 is a great deal... i contacted a company out here in OC california, the &!tch wanted to charge me $200 to just do the roof and pillars AND i needed to buy my own vinyl!
