Cool Photoshop Help please, NO IT"S NOT WHEELS!

I'm looking for ideas for striping or grahics for my Z. My NISMO body kit is to be installed soon & I'd like to have all painting done at the same time.

First of all, let me thank Dr.Bonz for loaning me his car! His brick is beautiful & it his fault that I'm going crazy with mine. I do have his permission for the use of his photos for this project. I'm not 100% sure yet, but the wheels will probably be 19" Work Termist TM-1 (Burning Black color), similar to VS-XX but less rivets and lighter. May be looking at other option on wheels too.

I know it's not much, but I'll offer $25.00 to the "winning" design if I use it, or if its the basis of what I do decide to put on my car. This is not an implied contract, we'll just trust the honor system.

Here are some ideas of what I think I'm looking for:

NO FLAMES

A "GT style stripe or double stripe?

Ghost strpie/stripes?

Maybe the front lip, side skirts, rear skirts & inlay of the wing base same as accent color/colors?

I was thinking color range of "door handle" silver to CF/grahite gray, but am open to other ideas.

Oxymoron: : I want something suttle but yet I want her to stand out.

These are only some ideas but I seem to lack in creativity lately, so have at it.

Thanks to everyone in advance for your time & efforts!

You're gonna have to give us somethiing easier to work with. Such as a side view of the car, and a front view. Angled shots are really tough for graphics and whatnot.

I'm working on different angle shots. I posted those because i was thinking more of a front to back design, as opposed to side graphics. But I'll consider other ideas too.

Forget the above wheels, they're a no go. I'll either use 19" Volk SF-winnings or 18" Work Meister S2R (Burning Black)

This is a crappy attempt, im not sure what type of stripe design or where you wanted it, but here is the skirt and rear diffuser in grey with 19 inch winnings. A much better attempt is coming up soon.

This design was copied directly from the Nismo S-Tune vehicle with its two tone ground effects. Not sure how subtle the decals are on the car, but perhaps a graphite/silver colored lip and skirts as you suggested would stand out a little more than the generally accepted "paint the whole thing body colored" as most the populus here would prefer. But its your car, so do what your heart desires.

Wow. I just read my first post. I guess that's what spell check is for.

BobbyBoy & AggieZ, thanks for the help so far. Thanks again Doc!

As far as a stripe/stripes, I was thinking a "GT" style or something like the old Shelby car. They were usually blue w/silver stripe. Or even ghost style stripes/graphics.

These were only ideas off the top of my head. I KNOW there are much better ideas in your heads out there. Please chime in with your ideas even if you don't photochop.

This can be our Z. I''ll make the payments and only I can drive it though!

ALOHA!

These are the wheels I've ordered, except in "burning black" (same as hyper-black). 18X9 w/2" polished lip in the front and 18X10 w/3.25" polished lip in the rear.

http://www.work-wheels.co.jp/wheels/...r/mst2r_1.html (Please forgive the Supra pic)

http://www.work-wheels.co.jp/wheels/...r/mst2r_2.html (has small pic of burning black)

And another pic but in silver, wrong color.

P.S. If anyone can tell me how to post multiple pics, that would be great......

I've always wondered what it would look like if you did stripes/designs in just a clearcoat with allot of a contrasting pearl in it. The Nismo stripes posted above, only in silver/black/white pearl would look pretty cool on a brick Z. You would only see them brightly at certain angles in the light, and it would be more subtle than the typical graphics you see. Besides I need a guinney-pig to test my idea out for me!

This is with the center stripe in silver, but i was too lazy to fix the rest and left the lower panels in silver too. I think that it looks better on the shelby and on american muscle than the Z.
