Default which shift **** ball or stick type

hello all,
I am about to order a shift **** and I'm stuck between the arc "ball type" and a nismo "stick type" now my question is how does the stick type feel when shifting?all my cars I have always had the ball type and I'm curious how much difference it is between the 2 shifting?

I had a stick type nismo titanium ****. Then I recently switched to a ball type. I gotta say, ball type is much better. You can pretty much grab a ball type **** anyway you want, but with stick type there's only one way to grab it..

I much prefer the Nismo GT ****. sort of a stick/ball thingie.

the Nismo Ball **** is not optimal for fast shifting. could be the difference in the weight, but I prefer the GT.

You can get the best of both worlds from Forged Performance's butt plug shift **** haha. I had that **** for a while and loved it...for shifting haha.

I'm sorta in the same boat as the OP. I'd hop on an ARC **** quick but am afraid of heat! I know it's not as bad as aluminum but still. I would love to keep my OEM shifter but it's about 0.5" too tall for me. My elbow can't rest anywhere while shifting it.

I don't mean to thread-jack but, does anyone know where to find a Leather covered Ball/Nismo GT type ****?

It supposedly doesn't create that much heat so you wouldn't really have to worry about it. Just look some stuff up on it through here or google. I bought mine off a member and its on the way..

I guess that sort of works, but really you live in Colorado . Having been there I know the weather, it gets upwards of 120 or so here and even the factory **** that I currently have with the small aluminum badge with the shift pattern is enough to "Home Alone" my palm.

Either way, I may have to try it. It's a..um...great looking ****.

I like the original shift ****, but I wanted to go aftermarket so I got the nismo stick ****. Although IMO I think the stick **** looks much better, the ball shape ***** are more comfortable.

Will you guys please stop talking about *****, sticks and *****.

I'm starting to get uncomfortable.

Had a stick type and didn't like it, especially going into reverse. Switched to round and liked it much more but the one I had wasn't heavy enough. Got a Tommy Kaira **** and it's about perfect feel and weight, though not the best looking one in the world but has to be about the most functional, which is why I got it.
