i find it somewhat hypocritical when all these people cry and complain about fake seats and rims, but the same people have no problems with fake body kits.

Fake anything is bad imo...

Why in the world would you want Bride seats anyway? I'll take Cobra seats, thanks. FIA sled tested and support for 6 points.

Not really the point (and well off topic now), but Bride also makes FIA approved seats - several in fact. No reclining seat is FIA approved...not from Cobra, or Bride, or anyone else in fact. As for a 6 point, Bride makes several that accomodate a 5 or 6 point harness (like any high end manufacturer does, who's seats are used on the world stage in motorsports). But once again, since none of us here are running in an FIA sanctioned event, it really doesn't matter at all.

i just got pair of fake bride gias seats... i bought them knowing that these are fake.. i just finished installing them and it looks good... can't complain about the quality being fake either, even if these are made in china, taiwan, mexico, etc... its like buying replica body kits.

thats great that you like it...but when it comes to safety issues, are you willing to put your trust into knock-off seats?

Are you saying these Chinese knock-offs do the same R&D, crash testing, FIA safety standards as Bride/Recaro?

Theres a reason why Bride seats cost so much compared to the cheap knock-offs. I doubt the knock off brand would even double check the tolerance levels of the seat or brackets. In addition, i'm pretty sure the materials are low quality as well. I wouldn't be surprised in an event of a accident, the replicated seat and driver would eject right out the wind shield.
