Thumbs up Momo metal mat inserts. Matches pedals

I like the metal mats. They attached to the existing mat. Keep the mat from rubbing raw were your feet always touch. Bolts to the original mat. That part was a hell, but persistance paid off.

I like the look but I'm not sure I want to puncture my floor mats to attach it. Is there any other way to install?

I like it, but I would like it a lot better if someone fabricated a factory looking 350z logo of some sort.

You create a small hole. So small that if you did not want it the carpet fabrics would cover the hole right up. So no worries about that. Guess you could try velcro but the only problem would be the bolt holes. They need to be there to cover up the little holes. Once you install these, I don't think you will want to remove them. They actually will save your mat.

Here is the weblink. The only place I found them

What I did was go to Pep Boys and buy a el cheap-o set of black mats.

Then I use the small mats that normally would go with the back seats (shape of a sqaure) and put that down where my heel would rest.

Viola! no holes in my expensive Nissan carpets. You even would have a spare if you wear out the one from Pep Boys!

Wadd, I don't know if you remember, but this is exactly what I wanted you to make a long time ago. Something on the carpet to protect against grinding your heel into it.

there are some similar aluminum floor mats on ebay. They are square mats that attach to the original floor mats. The bidding starts at $20. I think they look much better b/c they don't have the drilled holes. I believe the holes will allow dirty water to soil the floor mats and then you have to uninstall to clean. Just thought i'd mention the idea since it is significantly less than $80

I agree. I like the look but wouldn't buy because of the "momo" thing. Would much prefer a nice "Z" logo.

Wadd is here!

Yeah, I can VERY VERY easily make that after putting it out in CAD. Guys, if you want, I can make it say 350Z or Nissan or whatever. Or just have the "Z"

You can get holes or no holes or squares or whatever. Up to you.

scubadj- would it be possible to get some dimensions from you??? If not, I will do my best to replicate that size given your picture.

Please contact me if anyone has some interest.

Scott:

Overall size is 13.5" X 11.5", according to the linked info. Can you match them to our pedals as to finish and hole size?
