What type of paint to use on MESH?

What type of paint to use on MESH?

I have a TSII Seibon hood and I'm going to paint the mesh cause the chrome look is throwing me off. Any suggestions? or a place that will PC'ed them for cheap

I used spray paint for metals from Autozone. Works good but you have to be careful to not bend the mesh when reinstalling or the paint will chip off.

if it is a uncoated type of metal, try a black rustoleum

Don't need anything with rust protection?

As long as you scuff it up pretty good with a low grit sandpaper, it should hold up. Use some quality prime too, like PPG grade stuff.

The spray paint specified for metals does have rust prevention. You just have to browse through their shelves to find it. I got the semi-flat black Duplicolor can.
