I wish I had the time to do these for people. It really is a sick mod!! I think he posted a good "how to" didn't he? Or maybe that was just a list of the LEDs he needs???

Acree, if you read this, PM me.

Nic@cincity, your mods are pretty damn tight to. Are those LED rings in the lights. Do they stay lit when the lights are on. I might just use this money to have you mod my lights.

He is indeed. Sad to hear that he closed down his shop, he hadn't even opened it that long ago.

Best of luck Andrew! Keep up the good work.

I never even got to the shop part. I've been working out of my apartment. I will revisit the idea once I complete my degree.

Thank you for all of the compliments.

I am in the process of selling my Z to purchase an Evo IX. Until it is sold, I can still do conversions. On average I was only doing 1-2 per month, so the volume isn't very high.

To Mana Z, good luck with conversion. Now you need to do something to get the lighting perfectly even. Hot spots aren't a pretty thing. That's something that wasn't easy to do. Also, using the fluorescent orange to light up the red marks with blue leds works, but it's no substitute for a white led. I applaud you for tackling the project. If you plan on offering these conversions to customers, I hope you do good work, and have a good work ethic. I've never had an unhappy customer. And please, whatever you do, do not associate your conversions with any of my work. Make it clear that you guys figured this out yourselves, without my input or assistance.

On a side note, on Tuesday of this week, a member of these forums flew me out to his place in Pennsylvania. I completed a full interior conversion and installed a Valentine 1 radar detector with my V1 Homelink Mirror with LED Conversion. Even the status led on the homelink mirror is blue. 100% completely even lighting. Here are the pictures.

Where do yo get the gauge faces from. Will the oem faces work or is it that you must change it. And if anyone knows, what type of LEDs are required.
