Default Looking for opinions!

Hello, I've been a member here for a couple of months now but I never post lol! I'm always searching around looking for pics and mods for my car. I guess I'll share now what I've done so far with my ride.

I think the color of my rims kinda don't match with my car. A local guy charges me $250 to paint the wheels any color I want. I was thinking of painting them like the "Time Attack" version of the LE's or a very dark charcoal grey. What do you all think? Please refer to this thread (1st page). There are both colors for the rims.

Have you seen other work the guy has done? I would
suggest tracking down another customer. Your wheels
look great, really. Nice car. Redline is my fave too.

I did it myself. I bought a couple of yards of this tint (I don't know how it's called) and made it myself. All I know is that it isn't window tint.

Yes I've seen his work. He painted my neighbor's wheels like a year ago and looks pretty nice.

I say spring for something... unique. TA is not terribly uncommon,
perhaps a great shade of midnite black with the black and white
volk stickers. As key said - make yourself happy, and your SET.

Whats up with your rear tires, they look tiny, maybe smaller than the front tires.

Please don't destroy a set of LE37T's by painting them. Sell them and buy something the color that you want or trade them for something else.

I'm not really feeling the tinted tails... especially on red where the tails match so well and blend in when they're stock... the tint just makes them stand out but to each their own. The wheels look good as is but a gunmetal grey might also look good like the car in this post:

^ I'm on the same page as this guy...but I say to get the time attack Seibon edition. You can keep the "silverish" look and get the red stripe to help tie it in with the car.

Those look siiickk! I love them.

I am thinking of painting them because they are already 2 years old and have a lot of scratches. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't paint them.

I would have to vote for a darker shade as well... Maybe a bit of red similair to the wheels referenced above... I agree with you, your wheels just look "Whatever" at this point, the black/gunmetal with a red lip would make everything PoP IMO...

I think your rims look fine! The Seibon TE's would look pretty hot though, but I wouldnt paint them.
