Finally. Door is fixed. Yeah...
Don't know if I posted my dilemma. But, basically it went like this:
Fat fuktard neighbor backs her truck out and hits my car. Me standing right there. I get jacked around by her insurance company. Finally take it to a familiar friend to get fixed. Door is fixed. A month later, the paint starts getting all wavy. WTF??? We go back and forth trying to schedule an appointment to get it stripped and repainted. MEanwhile, his shop goes out of business. I'm phucked. I wait and deal with it for the next year. Then, I'm driving down the freeway and the paint is flying off in chunks. So, I file another claim and take it in again. This time, everything is cool. MY insurance. Good to go. But, then, MY claims guy hands me check for $216.00. I wipe my butt with it and hand it back. WTF???
Long story shorter: They cover what would be a fix. I cover the labor and new door skin. They paint, fix and blend the entire side of the car - and, give me a total interior/exterior detail too. Yeah, I'm still out $600.00. But, I now have my car back. My door doesn't have any body filler on it. I can use my racing magnets. And, the entire side of my car has been repainted/blended back to factory specs.
