Ok I don't know very much about body kits because I was never really into the body modification thing, but lately I've been curious on these two different body kits. The Invader body kit and the Veilside 3 body kit, both of them look the same, all I know is one of them is a replica (invader). I have a buddy of mine with the authentic veilside 3 body kit and I saw another Z with the same body kit but it was an Invader kit. I compared both of them and they look exactly the same, except for the fact that the veilside kit had the VS badge, while the invader kit was badgeless. What are the differences between the two besides the badge and manufacturer?? Are they made from the same material?? What are the price differences??

 

there is no difference, they both equally suck. ugliest bodykit ever made for the Z IMO.

Replica is usually:
1. Cheaper.
2. Copy of the Original design (hence the name "replica"), so should look pretty much the same.
3. Fitment might not be spot-on (although some replicas have great fitment, it all depends on who makes it).

Price differences will vary from kit to kit.

 

One is a mass produced, cheap quality counterfit.
One is a limited production, high quality part.

One comes with a waranty
The other does not.

etc....

I get enough calls from body shop owners who end up ordering the real one after the customer decided to go cheap and order the junk fake ones.
