Default Grille insert

Yeah I tried a search and got nothing. I'm trying to find out of I can get a 06 grille insert to fit in my 04.5? The 06 grille inserts look better and has less bars going across.

now that i looked up the parts catalog on courtesy, the only difference i see with the front grill is what appears to be three parts added to the stock grill already in place. they show a listing for three moulding pieces that go onto it. could someone with a 06+ front grill confirm this?

I think they are two different grilles though because they look completely different. Here is the 06 grille: http://www.topspeed.com/cars/nissan/...0z-ar2272.html and heres the ugly pre 06 grille: http://www.topspeed.com/cars/nissan/...ture26662.html.

When I look on Courtesy I see the same part number for the 03-05 bumper and the 06+

One of my good friends has an 06, I'll measure his opening and compare it to mine.

its not an insert... its molded into the front fascia. the louvers and fascia are one piece from the factory. you have to buy two decorative strips that snap on the back structure for the 06+ bumper to complete it. the 05- are one peice, no extras except for the small peice that covers the tow hook.

i may order a stock sheet of (1/2") hex patterned metal for a custom look in my fascia vs ordering those strips. i'm getting a new bumper for my 2004.5-Z(stupid accident).
i'll then paint it with black rock gaurd to finish it off. i may even create custom brake duct inserts in place of the side reflectors because the 06+ fascia design.

So is there a way to order the louvers seperately since it's molded on?

Sorry to bring a dead thread back to life, but I havent found much from searching. Where can I buy the '06 "decorative strips"?

I found a good price on an 06 bumper, but it is missing those strips in the grille area.
