Factory Mud guards on Base 350Z
All
I have a base model 03 350z without mud guards. I purchased a set from a forum member off of a 05. My question is will it be fairly easy to mount the guards on my car even though I don't have the holes or screws? Can i just drill the holes and buy the screws from the dealer?

I can't believe you couldn't just go to Lowes and buy some screws. I took the mud guards off my '03 and I think they just used self tapping phillips screws. Personally, I prefer the looks without the mud guards.

The factor installed mud guards are attached with regular phillups head screws that are about 3/4 inch long. The screws however are not just screwed into the plastic. There are metal anchor nuts(clips) on the inside of the fender. This is what the screws, screw into. You can probably pic some up at Lowes or an auto part store fairly easy though. Food for thought...
