It's one thing to spend a reasonable amount of money on something that's worth it. It's another to pay an asinine amount of money for blacked out headlights and angel eyes. I had the headlights on my Evo blacked out for $100 and they looked awesome. I can see headlight mods being a few hundred dollars, but nowhere near $1000. If you think it's worth it, fine but I'd rather put it towards coilovers or something more vaulable to me.

btw how much does that cost, is it still $1490 (not including the "Top 4 LED's change to ultra white") according to a recent quote?
That's because they are a gloss black not flat black that's why you see a reflection. prices are the same as quoted

Well, adjustable ride height and adjustable shock damping may not be as useful as black headlights with LEDs but Im probably crazy.

Hmmm.......

Why is Cin City thread-jacking?

This is not a competition. This is a thread our customer made as a review of our product & customer service.

Cin City: from one group of professionals to another, if you want to generate more business then do so on your website or in one of your own threads.

As for "SPECIALIZING in 350Z lights," may I remind you that we've been working on the 350Z ever since there was a 350Z. Not to mention the Z32 and Z31 300ZX, or the 240/260/280Z.

Keep things civil, there's plenty of business out there.

cheers,
mike / clearcorners.com

Its all relative, isnt it?

Lets take wheels, some people are OK with knock off wheels. Others are OK with Rota or Axis wheels. Others want VOLK/SSR/Work wheels.

I recently spend several thousand dollars on my wheel/tire setup, and another couple thousand on my front brake setup. Would you spend that money?

The question is rhetorical, we all spend money in ways that make us happy. I dont buy things to please others, I buy things to please myself.

I am sure you can understand this concept.

As for the comparison between Axis wheels and Volk wheels, there is a substantial difference in quality. Not that it's relevant, but I just spent $4k on Volk wheels and tires, so yes I would spend that money.

Don't take offense, because you obviously do good work, but when other companies such as Lightwerkz will do basically the same thing for 1/3 the price, I have to wonder why the difference in price. There may be a slight difference in quality of LED's, or paint, but not enough to substantiate a 300% increase in price.

This is not targeted directly at you either. CiN City charges the same absurd prices for their work too.

I would love to have you do my headlights, but if I was serious about paying $1500 dollars for it, my wife would have my head examined.

And yes, I understand your concept. My opinion, is just that, an opinion, and I was merely stating it.

PS. Don't worry about the CiN City guys. There's not a thread on these forums with the word headlight in it that they haven't used for shameless self-promotion.

ive always like their work ,but **** i didnt think it woudl cost any where near that price..

and thats only the labor on 06+ headlights..so it makes it impossible(moreover pointless) for guys that dont have 06+ headlights..

so if someone were to upgrade from 03 heads to that it would be over $2,200 ..might as well buy new wheels or save a lil for FI

i still love their work tho

+1

you guy's/girls? who can't afford the headlight mods should go over to the FI section and tell all of them "hey you just spent way too much on a mod i'd love to do but cannot afford."

Thread jacking? Are you serious? I don't see the topic being lights done from CC at all. This was posted in the Exterior & Interior section and the topic is just about headlights. And it also must be nice not to be a paying sponsor and still be able to post your .com on the site. Free advertising must be nice

And? the topic had nothing to do with it.

I'm not going to sit here and get into a pissing contest with you guys. We have no problem with CC and I just posted my headlights here cause I was excitied and it's been 3 months in the process.

^^^ Kinda lame. There's a big difference between performance enhancing mods, and asthetic ones that do nothing and look dated after a short time. Besides, only a 19 year old punk would even attempt to compare rattle-canned led headlights to an FI setup... Lol~
