what do i need to do to keep them away or prevent paint chip other than using a bra on a new car? what did you guys do to your cars? wash and wax?

 

Clear bra the front bumper.
Wash bug guts off your car promptly.
Dont go offroading.
Dont tailgate.

 

Keep it clean and waxed. I've found there's no way to truly prevent all scratches/dings/nicks...just have to buff em out when they rear their heads. I'm gonna buy a Porter Cable to assist me in this.

don't park in small spaces or near trucks/old cars etc...
don't tailgate
stay away from salt and truck with dirt/rocks on the freeway.
drive girls car to the supermarket etc with loose shopping carts

To expand on the pakring topic...

Dont park near females! They bust their door open like they dont give a fck. Either on their phone or yelling at their kids. I know you cant choose who parks near you later on but thats why you choose a far away, non desireble space.
