Default Need Hid Conversion Kit Suggestions

Hey guys!
I have an 05 350z base and wanted to install an HID conversion kit. I know that going with the 06 bi-xenon headlights are the best option, but that's waaay over my budget right now. I don't want to go with an ebay brand either. I'd really like to get the best bang for the buck when it comes to quality. Can anyone who has installed or knows someone who has installed an HID conversion kit point me in the direction of a high quality HID kit vendor/ website? Many thanks in advance!

Well, not of the Z... But on my Celica...
Installed an HID 8000k kit from www.xenondepot.com. Bought it mover than 2 years ago and I sold them to my friend when I traded in the Celica. They're still going strong.

Before

After

99% of the aftermarket HID retrofit kits cause glare issues and result in your car blinding oncoming traffic to some extent. This makes you look like a douchebag that only cares about yourself. This is why its a horrible idea. I would recommend investing in OEM 03-05 HID headlights that use d2r bulbs that have ceramic shielding to prevent glare, or retrofitting in a set of OEM HID projectors from another vehicle

I have an OEM 03 HID light, but the light output is terrible. I don't recommend buying 03-05 HID. What can I do to enhance my 03 HID light? Change the bulb and ballast to 55w?

THanks!

retrofit real projectors in or purchase 06+ lights, I don't recommend 55w aftermarket kits

As many people know, the 06+ HID headlights are quite expensive. As I stated in the beginning of the thread, I am looking to buy a high quality ALTERNATIVE to the 06+ Bi-xenon headlights.

Apexi350z I do believe that upgrading to a 55W ballast and bulb will help your light output.

Anyone have anymore suggestions for some high quality HID kits?
