Anyone got wood!?! I mean as a dash kit
Having seen the recent posts with carbon fiber dashes, I was wondering if anyone has a wood dash yet.
I am considering a wood (burlwood) dash kit (I like that look) but I am not sure how it would look on the Z's ultra-modern dash design. I have mostly seen wood dashes on flat dashboards.
Does anyone have a picture of a wood dash kit installed?
Could this be photoshopped or is it too difficult because of all the angles and curves and diificulty in modeling wood burls?

Don't worry, I am plenty skeptical on how it will look.
But... I always like the way wood dashes looked in Jaguars, Audis, and some other european cars I have seen. I just can
t visualize it in the Z.
I thought there might be a chance it would look ok with the leather seats in the touring model.
Tastes cary. I myself happen to HATE carbon fiber looks. Carbon fiber is good for things that need to be strong and light (ie there is a good engineering reason to use it). But (to me) it looks cheesy on non-structural items or interior trim pieces. When it is used on non-structural pieces it sort of yells "poser" or "hey look I am playing race car guy". To each their own I guess.
Maybe it is a age/generation thing. I am a geezer compared to the cabon fiber people I have met.
As for wood. . . I sure would like to see it before writig it of entirely though.
