Will this fit??? Just the center part between the A/C gauges and the back arm rest.
If so, does anyone know if the connector for the hazzard lights the same on both models?

 

Those are two separate pieces. The part where the AC gauges are located also known as the shifter console and then the "center console" part that goes in between the seats. Are you looking to change both?

 

Yes. Maybe. I might be able to get my hands on a totalled Nismo.
So, I want to grab as many cool parts as I can.

 

I believe some of the bolts and screws that attach to the chassis (at least for the side of the upper center console, the spot where the kneepads are located) will not match up. You will have to switch out the entire upper center console and the the sides (where the knee pads are located) just so you can install the shifter console (where the AC controllers are located). As fas the the lower center console which has the arm rest and the Nismo plaque located in it, i have no idea.

I know when i was installing 06+ kneepads in my early 03 my stereo guy informed me that he had to do some modifications. Don't ask me what they were, all i know is that they were on and snug when I picked up the car.

Maybe he wants the center storage cubby with the retracting door over it. Either way its his car and his money even if he wants the plaque.

I'd lke any 06+ shifter console, ect for my 03.

I like the design and cubby door better.

 

If he wants the center console for the plaque, all I have to say is, thats pretty low. That plaque is for NISMO Z's ONLY, I'd be extremly pissed knowing somebody bought a totaled NISMO Z and put the center console in their '03 Z with the plaque still there.

why does it have to be out of a nismo Z? all 2007-2008 center consoles are the same? not unless you actually want the center console for the number plaque.

i would def take the plaque off of a totalled nismo if i had the chance, i would stick that sh*t up on my wall right next to my nismo z poster .

I wouldn't consider the center console a "cool part", since their all the same. Lets face it, we all know all he wants is the plaque.

 

Nope. Don't care about the plaque. I want to cubby with the sliding door. And, a new eBrake and shifter handle that don't have 5 years of wear. I might be able to get the seats and other stuff too. I just need to be quick before the insurance company totals the car. It's not mine. I just know about it.

I was hoping you could take the lower part and replace it - say AC controls down and back. Wasn't sure. I can always rewire the hazzard and stuff. No biggy. I just don't want to spend any money on something that can't be used entirely.

Heck, it might already be too late to get the stuff as it is...

 

if you get the interior peices, let me get your 03 cubby... i don't like my 05.. it pops out as everyone knows..
