I've had the nismo front lip for a while now, and i need to repaint my front bumper and spoiler. Did you guys use and paint the rubber strip that goes in between the lip and bumper. Did you guys manage to keep it in good shape and not to flake? My body shop guy said it would never stay painted because of the flex in the rubber and it will eventually start flaking. I am just curious to see what you guys did.

No the rubber does not get painted.

 

dont paint it ? doesn't it look like crap ?
