does anyone know if the full body kits from Vfiber velocity and Vertex are the same? i know they are definently the same looking, but price is way different, and im kinda on a budget..anyone out there have these kits? can anyone tell me if they fit well, and are the same? im pretty sure the Vfiber is just a replica of the vertex, but i wanna know if anyone has them on here!!! thanks!!

Adam is spot on, and yes, you need to buy the pricey one.
Why? BC you will spend at least the difference getting the
Vfiber kit to look remotely as good as the genuine vertex
product. When you're done the genuine vertex kit will look
great, but you will likely have a subpar finished product
should you go with Vfiber.

How much will your body shop charge per hour for fitting, bondo, sanding,
refitting, molding, etc? Offbrand and grey market kits are of dubious quality
(unless made by Shine auto) likely more than 90% of the time - a guess
of course, however I rarely have a had time identifying a mediocre replica.
If you don't have a discerning eye, none of this should be an issue. I am
OC, so when I walk up to my car it has to be PERFECT, for me.

actually thats not to hard to decide, i tried replicas once (nismo rears) to save 200 when i got them to my body shop they told me it would take some work to get them to fit...about 150 dollars worth of work, so now i'm saving only 50. I ended up returning them and just buying authentic. I'm pretty sure it came out better then even trying to make the replicas fit would have.

TRUST ME BUY AUTHENTIC!!!!!!!!!!!
As pointed out, up front the VFiber is cheaper, but you will end up paying for it when your body shop tries to get it to fit.
Remember..... Replica kits are made from taking an original kit and using it as the mold. The more and more you use this to make a kit, more imperfections will show up. I'm not sure of the process, but I'm pretty sure that subsequent replica kits are not coming off the original authentic kit, hence the imperfections.
Then there's also the moral issue.... Do you really wanna support a company that put no R&D into a product, essentially stealing from the originators?

yea i never understood this.
seems like Origin is the REAL REAL one.
Vertex makes the replica, but good fitting and cheaper... so they get good props from us all.
and everyone else makes sucky fitting ones.
