the bar is actually pressed up against the roofs interior so measure down 2.5" and thats where the bar is going to be. how the bar is built is about the only way it can be done with the way the car is built, the roof line slopes down so much in the back their is no where else it can go. they can move the bar back but the main hoop would have bends in it and that's not a good idea!
you can actually still see out the back you are just looking through the cross in the bar. plan and simple this bar is built as good as it can be done so if you really need a 4 point bar this is it.
