Default 4 point roll bar installed pics.

i had this bar made by kirk racing. they will be selling the four point bar for around 325 and you can have the rear diagonals ran differently but with the rear bars in the x pattern you have full seat reclinability, and yes my seat slides all the way back. all of the storage bins open with no problem. i am 6'3" and 250lbs and do not even notice the bar is in their even with a helmet on but the passinger will, they lose about 5" of seat travel. they do offer a full cage also. kirk racing 1-205-608-1156

btw we are running vir sept. 20-21 so come check out the bars. we will have two 350's with bars in them thanks.

the car feels alot more solid but i did not drive it long with just the bar in, i installed s-tunes and cusco's sway's two days after the bar went in. i have about 3.5" from the padding on my bar from my head with out a helmet on and the bar is only about 2" above my head. i will try to get more pics sometime my camera got droped and the pics are pretty fuzzy now.

WOW.....looks great!

Is it SCCA/PCA legal? It looks like it should be. Not sure how a Daytona Blue bar would look in my Silverstone

i would have to take the seats and carpet back out and that ain't going to happen. it mounts right up aginst the rear bins. if you reach behind your seat and push down the carpet you can feel a low area about 3" wide and 8" long, thats where it mounts. you can call kirk racing, i belive they took alot of pics when making the bar. and it only takes about two hours to install.

Please post pics with you sitting in the car, helmet on! I need that bar ASAP, but my head already hits the roof of the car with a helmet on and I sit with the seat 1 click from all the way back, but I don't sit extrememly reclined. I am worried about my head hitting that bar. Thanks!

The bar looks great. I've been looking for a nice looking bar for the Z.

I'd like to see you sitting in the car also. Looking at the pictures, it would seem that someone 6'3" would have to lean his helmet forward to clear the bar. Must be the angle of the picture.

I'm 6'1" and I barely clear the ceiling with a helmet on. Two other Z owners at the autocross who are an inch or so taller say that their helmet touches the ceiling although they don't notice when they drive.

Does Kirk have a web site? or do we reach them just by phone?

With the cross braces, it looks like your view out the rear view mirror has gone from poor to zilch.

If you're taking more pix for all the rest of the guys above, can you try to get one of the view through the mirror?
