wondering if anyone can help me out with picking out a front lip for bumper.most popular brands and im trying to find something that if by chance i hit something lightly,the lip wont crack.so carbon fiber lips look nice but i can see that thing breaking into hundred pieces.something flexible,you got the idea.any advice is helpfull

I like abs plastic lips because there durable,only "nice lip"i know that comes in abs plastic is the nismo lip from ebay or intensepower.com

 

Go with msa front lip. It's the ings lx lip kit replica made out of urethane. Most good kits are frp so sometimes you have to look at replicas that are made in urethane.

If you don't mind getting a full bumper, look in to shine parts

Looks good! Is your car stock height? Are there a lot of scraping issues with lips on stock height?

 

My Z is stock hight. I havnt had any scraping problems yet. This lip does sit a little bit higher them most others.

The lip is urethane (bendable) not CF, I liked the way the CF lip looked but I didnt want to break it with the bad roads here so I got the urethane lip and had it painted gloss black. You can get the CF lip if you want CF, its $504 shipped. And yes I did install it myself, very easy install only 3 screws per wheel well and 3m tape for the rest.

 

Thanks! I have been debating wether I'l buy the lip or the whole bumper. I maybe able to get the Nismo V2 for less than the CF. The only problem is that I will have to pay additional money to get it painted. So, buying a lip maybe a cheaper option.

 

Prep and paint for a new bumper is around $500 for nice paint, thats one reason I went with the lip. I got the lip preped and painted for $110
