Default head lights

I recently had my 06 head lights painted. I color matched the projector housing red like the exterior of my car. I Had a friend bake them and reseal them for 40 bucks and another friend paint them for 100 bucks. All in all I'm happy with how they turned out, and it beats the 760 bucks i was quoted by someone here cough cough lol. heres a couple of crappy cell pics.....

I will try to take better pics when I get the chance

you know, i had mine color matched/clear lens installed by them and it was nowhere near the price you are claiming you was going to be charged. but oh well, kudos for getting it done local.

Then you did not ask for 2 colors like this is done. Considering the cost it takes to heat and unseal "free in your home oven on a wet piece of cardboard" Then the paint work "quoted 100$ by the best local paint shop in Tampa in my opinion". Then reseal for about 20 - 30$. Honestly cin city is only for people that like to through away money and or are to lazy. I think its cool they offer the service but they need more competition so there prices would be more reasonable. After all paint work and sealing somthing so small should be comparable to other body shop custom paint and not like painting an entire body kit.

says the person that has useless carbon fiber pieces talk about "throwing away money"

two colors or not, i think the OP was exaggerating on the price a bit. i can say that i paid less than $400, and that is with the shipping involved.

I don't know about exagerating. I was quoted around $700 to have my 05 headlights colormatched.
