Default DIY side mounted seats anyone???

So I am getting a 350Z soon (was deciding between a C6 Corvette and a Z) ended up liking the Z more. I do have money to put into mods and the one of the mods I want is some Sparco competition seats (its kinda rice when you have stock engine, but whatever I like them). I'm a bigger guy (6'2 220 pounds) so I have to go with the Evo series seats by sparco because they will accomodate my size, however these seats have to be side mounted.

Do any of you guys have experience with installing side mounts for seats in your car?

I'm looking at the Evo 2 & Evo 3 Competition seats. The Evo 2 is suppossed to fit drivers who are over 200lbs and the Evo 3 is suppossed to fit drivers who are over 240lbs and can accomodate waist sizes from 38-42. If you are my size (220lbs with a 36 waist) I'd try out both of these seats and buy the one that you feel is most comfortable.

Check them out in person though.

I'm 6'0 255lbs, albeit my waist is a 36 in jeans and a 34 in dress slacks I run the Recaro Speeds in my car and I fit quite comfortably. I also recommend a reclining seat like the Recaro rather than a bucket seat like the Evo or Evo 2 due to the fact that its much more comfortable for daily driving.

Ya, reclining seats are probably more ideal for daily driving, but I like the bucket seat style. I'm definitly going to sit in them in person before purchasing. If I do go with a reclining seat (which I won't unless I find the bucket seats upsurdly uncomfortable) I'd get reclining seats by sparco
