First off, your threads suck *** etl55. You joined this month and have already started 15 useless threads that you could have easily got the info by searching. There is 8 years of knowledge on this site, I guarantee there is not a single thing that you can think of at this point in time that hasn't been discussed about in detail prior to you joining my350z. I'm generally very easy going but starting 15 threads and and just joining this month downright ridiculous. Seriously, you joined 1/06/09, thats almost a thread a day.

Second, if you look around for 5 minutes you will find that there is in fact two different versions of the Nismo floormats, one for 03-05 and one for 06-08. The 03-05 Nismo mats have the rubber insert, the 06-08 do not, thus validating my point. Here's one thread, theres probably at least 10 others.

Just to clarify, regarding the heelguards, I believe you have that backwards.

No.... I believe the newer models get the rubber insert...
Older models get no rubber insert.
You can still buy either or... rubber insert being more expensive obviously.

+1,000

I purchased the NISMO mats in 2005 without the heel guard. I later sold them and purchased 2006 OEM mats with the heel guard. Much better, no hole under heel.

I'm not sure to be honest. I bought 03-05's through Riverside (I believe), and they do in fact have the rubber heelguard.

Who knows, maybe they shipped me 06-08's, but they fit fine and line up with everything. They are the thin style.

edit: They weren't expensive either, I believe I got them for a total of $30 shipped, possibly they shipped the wrong ones but they had both on sale for the same price. Either way, floor mats are fuking floor mats.
