ppw color matching
Im contemplating shaving the nissan emblems on the front and rear of my car but am afraid it will be hard to match the pearl white against the rear bumper and the hood, ive heard mixed opinions about this, what do you guys think? is it hard to match? or is this a myth?
unfortunately on all the Z's and basically all new water-based-paint cars the colors dont match on the plastic and metal parts( it doesnt help that parts are painted at different times at the factory ). Youre either gonna have to pick one color to match to and or have each part blended to the adjacent panel.
I have PPW also and had my rear emblem shaved, I also was getting a bunch of other pieces panted as well. So far the worst matching part on my car is the original paint on the front bumper
oh and yes this color is hard to match, its gonna take a good eye even with computer matching. It isnt the color to much that the problem its the pearl flake.

I have a redline z that had some damage to the front and rear bumpers therefore, I need to repaint them. Do you think it will be hard to match it to the original redline red?
