Bumper Fix Opinion Needed!
So i have a damaged bumper. Local Off site guy requested $250 to fix it.
He has done previous cars for me so he is pretty leggit.
Anywaise, a local is selling his bumper (same color as mine PPW) for $100!
Was thinking of just purchasing the bumper and putting it on myself.
Only concern is about the paint matching? i have roughly 18k miles on my car. And his bumper has about 12K miles on his.
Should i fix my orginal bumper? or replace it with the local bumper?
thanks!

Look at his bumper parked next to yours and see if the paint difference is noticable.... If its not buy it off him and slap that sucker on. Unless you are a complete car moron there should be no problem taking it off and puting the other one back on. Just make sure the damage is just on the cosmetic plastic bumper and you have no frame damage.

For sure, go check out the bumper and buy that one if the paint is fine. Like bapestah said, make sure to take off your bumper and inspect for any other damage besides just the cosmetic bumper damage. Otherwise you should be good for a straight swap and be done with it.
I think that's a better option than repairing your current bumper with a bunch of bondo/plastic crap that may not hold up well over the years. Actually I will go as far as saying it will probably not hold up well over the years. OEM plastic bumpers are hard to mold to without developing cracks and stuff over time. I haven't seen your bumper so I don't know how bad the damage is, but if it isn't just a slight fill to fix a scratch or something like that it will be better to just replace it.
