The belts don't look like what was previously mentioned.
Hopefully more detailed shots will follow as to how the lap & sub belts mount. I hope the kit won't require any welding, as Commonsence(sp?) had to do.

people want to go to the track or autocross and use harnesses. instead of using a roll bar which is permanent, people want the ease of using a harness bar so that they can easily take it out if not in use.

The only use I could see for that harness bar is for autox. The odds of you actually flipping are nil, but a harness would hold you in place. Otherwise if you flip, broken neck. The problem with the Z in a rollover is the curved roof and the B pillar not being very tall.

Would the bar have different colors to choose?
Let say the interior is either black, frost, or orange. Can it be painted to match or painted to match the exterior color.
My 2nd question is can you still use your rear-view mirror when having this bar installed? Would it cause more blind spots?
And 3rd, can a set of TAKATA seltbelts be used on this harness bar?
And finalyl last, how much would this harness cost?

The bar is not designed for a rollover - period. It is to install 4 and 6 point harnesses to the car.
It has been stresstest to 2- 300 lbs people at 60 mph collision. This was done by the company do the cad design.
The first batch is $275.00 + shipping and then after the first run is goes to $375.00

The bar does not imnpair rear vision at all.
It comes in silver or black. We can do custom powdercating at $120.00 per bar.
Any harness set up will work, BUT recommend those that have the strap buckles in back for an easier install. Bolt type would require drilling and threading two holes.
We use TeamTech by Paul Gentilossi. These are used in his Trans Am cars and his champ car project.

Another question. It seems that the seat belt is not strapped on to the hardness? Meaning, would the seat-belt be moving from left to right while in motion?
Seems, like when you get into a side accident, the belt could move either direction, causing to twist your body.

Correct - there is no side movement especially when the driver is belted in. This design has been used on vettes in SCCA for quite a while and passes their specs for harness bars.
