Vas,
Can you skin right on top of MDF or would you have to Bondo the piece first to get the resin to stick?
Thanks.

Thanks Vas,
I just got done making an amp rack out of 1/2" MDF and was going to carbon skin right over the top.
I was wanting to know if the resin will adhere right to the MDF?

very nice work. I went through this whole wrapping hassle not too long ago and recently a thief jacked it all up...

Im selling off the parts that survived if anyone wants them: https://my350z.com/forum/interior/42...0z-pieces.html

Thanks, that site has been a work in progress, I don't get paid to do it so I am taking my time.

Let me know if you need anything, as far as executive travel, I can get you some of the best rates in the country.

As for carbon work, I am going to eventually do my entire trunk interior area and send you a front splitter I am fabbing, How do you think it would look to wrap a roll cage in carbon fiber?

I am trying the vinyl route for now and will see the results, i dont own a show car but I enjoy a clean fast car.

good work for wet laid carbon. Especially when the ambient temperature is ridiculously low in upstate.

How hard would it be to wrap the headlight internals in CF?

Hard? probably hard... I can do it if I take my time. The only thing that I wont do, is you know taking the headlight apart.. with silicone and all that... If thats already taken apart it shouldnt be a problem

OEM headlight is sealed with rubber butyl, takes about 10 minutes to take apart. Easier than sanding the CF...heh
