Default DIY Programing of Blank 350z Key

I have a blank key that needs to be cut and programed. I've search this site, but all the posts I've found so far say you need to take the key to someone to have it programs.

I'm almost positive I remember finding a tutorial on some 350z forum site that had a DIY tutorial for programing a new key. You had to have a working key (which I have obviously). And then there was some secret set of motions you would go through. Something like put the working key in pump the break 6 times, wait 10 seconds, put the blank key in, pump the break 3 times.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

You can program a keyfob yourself, but not a key.

That motion of inserting the key and waiting and stuff is to program a remote FOB. The key has to be done at the dealership via scan tool.

Some key shops do it if they have the consault tool to program the key. I was not able to see how it was done since they told me to come back in half hr. But I got mine programed for 85bux with the key.
