I bought a Nismo type spoiler a week or so ago and took it into a recommended body shop today for an estimate to paint and install. I needed the stock spoiler removed and to paint and install the new Nismo type spoiler. The guy said that it is going to be a lot of work and eventually quoted me at $800.

Is this too high a price? Or have others been paying around the same?

Also, can anyone recommend a good body shop in the Phoenix/Mesa area? Thanks!

 

you should be able to install yourself, but if you insist on dealer installation, my guy paints for $100, install for $100, total of $200

 

Hey Ricky, where is your guy located?

 

Just for a point of reference, I had the entire genuine NISMO body kit (except for the lip which was Veilside) painted and intalled for less than $800. That was 7 parts total (Nismo wing is 2 parts) and it was done at a professional shop.

I believe that price is a bit...ermm..much!
