Default cf wrap?

didnt know this was possible til i saw someone on here do it to their gas cap cover and spoiler. wat exactly is this procedure? do you take a cloth that has carbon fiber patterns and just apply glue and stick it on? Does it even look authentic? and wat would the finished product feel like with the cloth over it. wat would happen if it rains or if the cloth gets torn? Feel free to explain since this is new to me. I was thinking of wrapping my side view mirror covers instead of the 300 or so that they sell online. thanks

Check with Vas. Looking through the thread his work looks awesome. Plan on having him take care of an item of two for me in the near future.

basically, its taking your stock piece, applying the fiber + resin. its not as easy as you may think. There is a ton of effort into making these right. When finished its just like any good ol cf hood.
