Hi.

I have a 5AT Z, and looking forward to switch the shift **** with the RAZO RA89 aluminium shifter.

The thing is I like the base to be covered with cloth just like 6MT Z shifters.

Question is, what is that piece of cloth called? Just to help me look around for it in stores (online).

 

I believe it's a "shifter boot".

Just order it from Nissan. They'll have a parts number for it and everything. Just go to your dealer's parts department and order a shifter boot.

OOPS, I just reread your post. You have the AT. I don't know if you can retrofit that with an OEM MT boot. Probably not.

get a MOMO boot, much nicer

 

there are boots on ebay for the Z, made for manual tho, so fitment probably would be an issue.

they come in a few colors tho on there.
