I need to know how to remove super glue stuck on the paint, from the previous owner. Anybody got any idea's that would be safe to use on paint?

Man, the only thing I know that will remove super glue is acetone - and that's likely going to screw with your clearcoat....

The glue was pretty thick on the paint, so i used a razor blade(with a steady hand) and got it down to where is was pretty thin. The i tried using nail polish remover w/acetone and it did mess with my clearcoat. I had to wax and wax till it took it back to its factory finish. And I also have tried WD-40, also messed with the clearcoat with no luck. I did see that Wal-Mart did carry Goo-Gone and also Goo-Gone Xtreme. Whats the better one to use? I hope that Goo-Gone will take care it off.

3M makes an adhesive remover which is safe to use on automotive finishes. Any paint / body shop supply store will have it.
