I just picked up a used harness bar and the paint is peeling and overall I just want to make it look better. I thought I wanted to do a flat black or gloss black paint, but I was thinking something like a burnt orange would look good and match the calipers and guages. My interior is stock base black interior.

So what are your opinions, fire away.

Closest interior I could find. Mine is all black though.

I would definitely go semi gloss black. It would look out of place any other color with a stock black interior.

 

i would take it to a local powdercoater and have it done a matte black, say 60% gloss

 

Yep, I found a guy that a shop owner I am friends with uses, so it will be powder coat.

I am still up in the air on the color. I will probably have to learn the hard way and end up getting it done twice.
