The best poor man's multimeter?
Not looking for anything fancy. Just looking to hardwire my V1 and do some LED mods.

I just need it to tell me the voltage as well as give decent readings on fluctuations. So if I tap into my blinkers, I don't want to get screwed with one that has like a five second refresh. Any suggestions? Will the $20 one suffice?

I would get this one
Its auto-ranging so no need to turn the dial to test voltage range. it also has more features (resistance, continuity, etc..) You should find the Continuity most valuable to test if your wire connection is good or not. Its only 5 bux more than the yellow $19 one and it includes batteries (the yellow one need a 9v) I had one for over 8 yrs and it still running on the original batteries. Got it freshman year in college for engineering, and still use it for everything.
