Are you running a Stillen S/C? If not what's the point of the hood? Everything else looks decent. I like the XD9's but not feeling the mesh in the back. I say black mesh on that! Ohhh and you said custom gauges but I don't see any pics of it.

 

Sorry to tell you bro, the entire kit, including the hood, doesn't flow with the car at all. You have a very aggressive rear, then not aggressive sides, then with a front bumper that doesn't even flow with the rest of the car. And the Stillen hood, I think I'd rather keep the comment to myself.................

 

Remove hood and add 2006 headlights. Correct mesh. Agreed.

Honestly by the laundry list of names I was expecting something gross...but your car actually looks pretty damn good contrary to what some are saying. Personally I would lose the hood unless you actually need the increased space/airflow...but nice work!!

 

I partially agree with this statement. I saw the huge list of names and went . Its not bad... but I think your front end is waaay to busy with that hood. OEM would look a little better IMO. Otherwise, its not too bad.

 

like the others said, don't like the hood, especially since the fitment is not good. color the mesh in the back to black, 06+ head lights and tail lights would be nice to have too. Love the rims.

 

That Chargespeed bumper looks horrible.

Regardless of what the others are saying about the hood; side skirts or whatever, are you happy with it?

Obviously in the eyes of someone else it looked good enough to place 3rd and unless there was only two other people in the class then good job on picking the parts and having it look good enough to win. Drive it and be proud.

 

You're too nice lol. I think the Stillen hood is pointless since it's only purpose is to clear enough room for the blower unit.... If he doesn't have a S/C then it looks redunkulous and pointless.... Function/Form for me anyways. Everything else is decent except the mesh. He asked for C&C so we're giving it to him.

 

Nice wheels, and the front and sides look pretty good together.

Pointless to you... ok. No problem there, but Aron must have liked it enough to shell out the cash and have it installed and prepped, primed and painted. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but the guy has a decent looking ride and managed to place at Zdayz. Never been there and would love to go but from the posts of the event i'm making an educated guess that there were a ton of Z's there. I'd like to see the pics of the others that placed.

He posts here and seems that every guy and their brother is kicking the guy for pieces he picked. It isn't like the guy picked out a bunch of pep-boys stick on vents and threw them on every panel. [ACTION: relooking at photos to make sure Aron didn't throw on some Pep-boys vents...]

Yeah, mesh can be weird just depends but I don't recall seeing in his post asking for C&C. Granted posting on Exterior & Interior you should expect it but the guy's ride doesn't look awful like some of the posters here are making it out to be. That's just me.

 

Thanks to all who posted...good or bad ...but well ...like rotors350z ...it is mine and not yours and yes i do like the hood ....Im sure most of you have actually never seen the hoods in person...but it seems to be that everyone hates them....to each his own...i didnt like them before i seen a car with it on....so unless youve seen a stillen hood in person and hated it suck it...jk...as for the mesh i wasnt sure about the silver either i will probally go with black....and zdayz is an awesome event ...i think there were about 250 z cars there....the guy that took first place had a clean *** 08 Nismo...... again Thanks to everone who posted....the hood is not everyones favorite ......IGET IT ...I LIKE IT ...MY CAR...NOT YOURS


PS ....This wasnt a poll of if I should take of my hood and replace it with the stock one
