Default 350z rear bumper

So i was rear-ended yesterday and my car right under the lisence plate has 2 small dents about a foot and half. You can only notice them when you are close up on the car. I went to the body shop today and they told me they will repaint it. I am kinda scared because I have read that the paint doesnt really come out perfect and that I will be able to notice under different lighting. What do you guys believe? Paint or get a new bumper?

new bumpers do not come painted.
if it is repairable, you are better off fixing it and have them blend in the new paint.

If they are repainting it and only spot painting you shouldn't have a problem since they have to blend the surrounding area. If your painting the entire bumper, well then you may have a problem if you had PPW but from your SIG Silverstone isn't that hard of a color to match, Just find a good shop whose reputable.

I hope your body shop is a GOOD shop, or else you may have to worry about your paint "spidering" down the road in that situation. If it was me, I would have F'd that bumper up before getting to the body shop so that they would have to replace it. Good luck!
