Default Shipping a body kit to Canada anyone know a fair price shipping company

I just got off the phone with UPS Freight, they quoted me a shipping price of

$1500 to pick up and package my bodykit and ship it to BC canada.

370 something for pick up and packaging
67 for insurance
1100 for shipping.

Hell I could drive it there and back for cheaper than that. That price seems absurd to me, I was quoted a price to ship my whole damn car to Hawaii for 2K, 500 less to ship a box to canada, come on....

Any suggestions?

Sorry I can't help you with specifics, but that quote sure is ridiculous!

I shipped my Z for about 900 less than that, though it wasn't nearly that far.

start calling freight companies for quotes. Anything crossing the boarder is going to be expensive, especially if you are coming out of FL

That is what I am asking, I called UPS freight and it was a stupid quote. I dont know any good freight companies. I googled it and came up companies that ship cars not packages.

I think my Body kit parts were shipped to Hawaii via BAX. Not sure on that one. It was coming from BulletProof.

I just called http://busfreighter.com/, they have AWESOME deals, well inside the US anyway. From orlando to seattle for both body kit boxes $120. Check the website out. Prices are crazy cheap. And they insure up to $1000 per shipment so if you send out 2 boxes separately the whole kit would be covered its over the 1K price.
