Unhappy Kickplate installation question?

My dealer is charging me almost $50 for installation on the aluminum kickplates. Can this be done at home? I was looking at the part and did not see any screws to undo. Please HELP!!!!

I think its half taped half clipped in, certainly a home project.

$50
My dealer installed them for free. I watched the tech do it and it only took about 10 mins. They took out the little black plug covers with this little screwdriver type of tool. Then pulled the old kickplates off. They are held in with plastic clips. The tech found it made it easier to pull off the door moulding that is right there. Align the new ones and push in the clips. Looked simple watching. Good luck.

It's very simple to install these.

Instructions come with them (very basic instructions, but all that is required).

It is the easiest install that you will ever have for your Z. I'll do it for you for only $25 and in less than ten minutes...

Really though, it shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes to do this... think of it as a fun project, there is very little chance of you messing it up. Go for it!

Do it yourself. Have to pull off the molding (easy) if you don't want to brake off the 1 plastic tab. Had to bang it on too since it didn't want to go on easy.
Piece of cake to do.
