Default Can't install new Razo RA 66 shift ****

My old **** broke and it's very loose and it wont tighten back up completley without being backwards so I purchased a Razo RA 66 400G weighted ****. Problem is, it won't fit on the shaft. The threading is too big. t looks like the **** is too tall, as in the threads wont go down on the shifter all the way, or that simple there is too big of a hole in the **** for it to even thread onto the shifter. I read that some aftermarket ***** have shifter rubber pieces, I dont have any kind of rubber piece on my shifter. I thought the hardest part was getting the old **** off, I didn't realize I may have to modify the shifter itself? Thanks!

Default

I called up to the manufacturer and they said there should have been hardware in there and spacers. I'm 95% sure mine didn't come with it, which happens. I think they will be sending me new hardware for free sometime next week.
