Wanting to get rid of Lambo doors
I want to take my lambo door hinges off and am wondering how big a process this would be. I have a friend who is a body man lined up to do it. Would I need anything besides just stock door hinges? I have found them at nissanparts2u.com and nissanpartswarehouse.com. Does anyone have a recommendation on either of these sources?
Thanks
Todd

First thing is first you'll need a Lambo tech to do it so go to the local Lambo dealership and ask them...
I kid just get hinges from U-PULL-IT cheap and just as OEM.

You'll need thicker skin to post here lol. Sarcasm is heavy here but onto your problem. I noted at the botom of my original post to check out U-pull-it's and the FS section here. Maybe someone wrecked their Z on here and will get rid of hinges for cheap. You can also post in the WTB section to see if anyone has any. My other suggestion is to contact a local body shop and see if they can help you or suggest someone to help you. Atleast you're taking the proper steps to remove the embarrassing doors. Good luck

Yeah I know I didn't see your bottom comments until after I posted. I'm just wanting to know if anyone here has done it and if there are steps or additional hardware I might need to put them back the proper way. I do have a friend who is a body man who will do it for me but I just want to be prepared. Thanks for your input!

if your lambo doors open the normal way as well as up that's cool... post on the for sale forum and ask for a local trade... someone will probably want it and be willing to pay for the trade at a bodyshop

one: lambo doors are not that bad
two: ive NEVER seen anything as new as a 350Z in a junk yard
three: just pull the hinges and replace with OEM hinges. be sure to fill the holes or something so water doesnt get in there and start rusting. dont you have to modify fenders to make lambos work? if so, make sure it wont clash with an OEM system

hey why are you taking the lambo kit off anyways? well i have experience with lambo kits. some of them are direct bolt on operations while others require drilling and welding hopefully yours is a direct bolt on one. let me know by the way does anyone have the stock a-pillars?
