Possible to put Infiniti Badge on 350z?
Well sir, first let me set you straight real quick:
In Japan, the Skyline 350GT coupe is almost an IDENTICAL copy of the Infinity G35 coupe here in the US. It is, in fact, the G35 coupe of Japan. It runs on the EXACT same chasis and the same VQ35DE engine.
There is also a Skyline GT250 as well, and a Skyline GT350/250 sedan that is identical to the G35 sedan.
yes they are Nissans and not Infinitys, BUT, they are the EXACT SAME CAR. The G and the Z are NOT.
HOWEVER, the R35 GTR is a totally new and different breed of car unique to itself in looks, however it does share the same chasis as the Z/G and utilizes the same engine, only twin turboed.
So in closing, G35 folks placing GT350 Skyline emblems on their cars is in fact the SAME as us placing "Fairlady Z" emblems on our cars, which many here do.
What the skadoushe OP is saying is totally different, though. Even though we share most components with the G, we have TOTALLY different shells on those chasis, with completely different interiors. (hence, what makes the Infinity an Infinity)

I know that gentlemen. I'm not an idiot. What I was simply saying, as my other post so blantently stated, was just adding to the many other flaming posts regarding sticking some emblem on your car that shouldn't be there. Duh... Infinity is made by Nissan, therefore, ahh nvm, it was a joke/analogy I made in an obvious attempt to be funny and flame on, but failed lol. GeauxLady is one of the smarties here apparently from the posts I've seen. He sure set me straight "real quick" lol
people still slap fairlady emblems on Z's here when in fact it truly is not a fairlady. it's a 350. If we were in japan, i could see that flying. Ok I guess you're right in that sense. In essence the 350 and fairlady are the same car, except that here, they are 350's over there they are fairlady's. You know that I know that, so let's just drop this and make up.

Ok some people on here must be completely retarded, NISSAN makes Infiniti end of story. Fairlady badges on Z's are an entirely different story, the skyline badging on the G35 is another story. The OP wanted to put the luxury brand from NISSAN on a NISSAN. This is one of the stupidest things EVER! Its like them gay *** honda guys who put Acura badges on a honda.
Sadly this might actually be a real question. Hell, people put Honda emblems on integras and RSX's (RSX>all) so maybe he's new to Nissans and thought it can be replicated.... Now he knows. It's better for him to have asked and got flamed than to have wasted time and money to do it, post pics, then get flamed...
