racing seats

Does anyone out there know if the air bag system will be affected if you replace the OEM seats with racing seats? Would that affect the other four from deploying if need be? Would it set off a warning light?

Unless you put a resistor in the wiring harness plug, you will get a light. Even if you have a light, all the other AB's will still be active.

all 4 cant be active, as 2 of them are in the seats... which your removing.

so the remaining 2 would be active yes.

oh you mean some racing seats have them? didnt know that. cant be too great for weight... but guess its worth it.

I put sparco seats in and the resistors it was easy and the other airbags will still work. you can check it out.
