Is there a way to wire the door handle so it fades in and out when you unlock the door from the key fob?

If you mean wire them to flash like the turn signals do when you unlock it then I would say no. If you are saying turn on when you unlock the car then yes because that is currently how I have them set up. When I unlock the car or open the door the leds in the handles and in the door sills turn on.

On the AC dial pointer, did you just sand off the amber coating?

Yes but it is very thick so the pointer ends up being much smaller than it was before. I am thinking about molding my own but I am not sure if it is woth the effort.

Nice work. I think I'm going to do this. My thought is to check Pep Boys or any local automotive store or maybe electronics store for pre-wired 3mm or 5mm LEDs. These have the resistor already packaged.

That is a good point but they are more expensive. Either way it works but it might cost a few dollars more and I am really cheap about things like that so I save money wherever I can

Do you have pics of the steering wheel control boards? I'd like to add those to the DIY I posted. I don't have the controls but I painted mine black cuz I didn't like the silver. To get them off I took the steering wheel off cause of the screw inside that holds them in.

Did you have to take the steering wheel off or did you remove the inside screw by coming in from behind?

If you post a DIY on the steering wheel I'd link to it from my DIY. If not, no worries, I'm sure I'll do one eventually.

I'll add links to your door sill posting and your handle posting.

Sorry lbz I completely missed this post. The steering wheel controls have screws directly behind them but those are used to hold the back plastic onto the steering wheel not hold in the controls. I found that out after I removed them lol. I dont think I will end up posting a DIY for those but they are pretty simple. Just 4 plcc-2 leds on the one side and 3 on the other. I removed the boards from the car but if I were to do it again I would leave them in there. I know what you mean about not liking all the silver and that just gave me an idea

Also for those of you who are interested the front reflectors from my car are for sale cuz I want clear ones

Apparently I cant read the rules so they have now been removed lol.

Glad I was able to change youre opinion You should see it in person! I know everyone says that but in these pics the green looks different in every part of the car when in reality its is all the same color and flows really well with the black.

I will be changing out my gauge faces soon so stay tuned
