Factory Leather vs. Cloth Seats
I was wondering how everyone felt about factory leather vs. cloth seats. I know that a majority of the 350zs sold werent all touring models, but it would be interesting to see and would provide some idea of what a potential buyer should go with.

Had a Silverstone Performance with the cloth, hated it. Had aftermarket two-tone leather put in. Liked it way better.
Just traded the SS in and got a Brickyard with Frost leather. I love the factory leather, and the heated seats are nice.

i have an 04 track and i love the car---HATE the seat material.
it is too coarse and wears too easily(from what i've read here and in observing how my seatbelts hit the top of the side bolster)
i agree with wren57 that david has a great deal on some quality katzskins and i will probably go that way in the near term but my ultimate goal(which i recently posted asking about aftermarket alternatives) is cobra misanos--expensive but so what ---we're willing to spend KKK$$$$$ on other mods and we spend ALL of our driving time sitting in them.so leather cobras will ultimately be my choice.
katzskin is also offering a new leather sport seat but its a koenig shell with katz covers---havent ever considered koenig to be high end ---more for the r*** boys.
none the less ,it IS going to be leather for me, either on my tracks with covers or thru some new seats in leather.
