Color to blend with carbon fiber, what color should i paint my car
hi all,
i've got a pearl white z. fitted a carbon fiber hood, cf hatch, cf a-pillars, cf roof overlay and cf ganador mirrors. Basically its fully cf on the top half with full white on the bottom half.
I'm need a change from the 2 tone scheme and was thinking of repainting the bottom half to another color.
Objective on color choice ---> to blend in with the cf top, so that the cf top kinda looks more subtle.
I was looking at different color schemes e.g. dark grey particularly. Ideally, someone wont be able to tell its got a cf top half without coming closer to the car.
Any recommendations? A color besides black would be preferable.
Thanks in advance!

Find an O'Reilly's that sells auto paint. They usually have color cards that you can look at, take outside, etc. See what matches up beside your CF.
Oh... I just noticed that you're in Singapore. So forget O'Reilly's... just find a paint supply store that has color cards.

Because then the Singapore people wouldn't be able to see how baller he is, of course.
OP - This is subjective. Some will say this color, some will say that color, some will say leave it white/carbon, whatever. Point is your best best is to look at other setup's you've liked or colors you've liked and go that route. In the end, it only matters if you like it since it's your car and you're paying for it.

Thanks steve, gonna do just that. But if if somebody else has any ideas, it'll be worth considering. And singapore's pretty small. Not many good bodyshops around.
Thanks nexx! that's what i have in mind currently.
Definitely doc. Thanks
I'd rather not paint over the hood and all, farm. Thanks btw.

or any shade of dark graphite will do but make sure it's not too dark or your car will blend in with the cf too much
