Default Tinted or no?

Just got a new headlight and still have one from before still tinted. I'm thinking about getting rid of the other tint as well but can't decide. Tell me what you think! Till then, driving around w/ both......

Looks like you got a cover on it...smoked might be better. IMHO, you should only tint the taillights if you would like to. Some people like that some hate it. I did mine and I loved the effect...

You know tinted wouldn't look half bad IF the rest of your car had aftermarket aspects as well.

IMO tinted headlights with a Stock car is

Just a warning, if you get blacked housing headlights, your light output will be decreased because of the painted over reflective surfaces.

i agree in some aspects but i think minimal changes really set off a car. the whole "looks faster than it really is" idea is just annoying.

Might need brighter bulbs to make up for the lack of reflective material...I'd say just go with the tails!

I thought blackouts died in the early '90s with the fox body Mustang?

Get rid of it

uh... what's the point of headlights if you're gonna just black them out? I say you should paint the inside rather than tint the outside.

Argggh! She looks like a pirate to me matey. Black out the 2nd and it will look like Pumpkin Jack.
Painting the interior is the only way to go for that look without being ricey IMO.

Do both. Keep it like that. One side tinted, one side not. Do the same with the rear. Then get two different pairs of wheels. That way, from each side, it's like a different car.

I agree with most of you guys.. I like the uniqueness but the overall tinted headlights look just doesn't go w/ anything else in the Z.. It really kills it since cosmetic-wise it's completely factory..

Outline tint I don't like just because it makes the headlights look round... Like a G35 or somthing and I personally like the agressive edges.. Thanks for offering the idea.

I like bluelineshooter's idea best.. Maybe even painting half the car another color!!!! Pink anyone?!

Next step: how the hell do you remove tint without leaving residue?! It's been on the car for almost a year!
